330ml can in BOD, Newport (Shropshire) on 4th July 2022, while I waited for my good lady to have her hair done. Annoyingly out of date by over a month (and I paid 5 Pounds and 20 Pence for the privilege!). Brown bodied with a dark red hue, thin beige head. Cobweb like old malty feel; hello darkness, my old friend. Tired and dull hop bitterness. Struggled to finish the can to be honest. Shame really because the wife's hair do was fine.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a deep marble brown with a two finger beige head. Aroma is malty, rugged, bitterness to the nose. Taste is bitter, malty, earthy, fruity.

24/5/2021. Can from Hopsters, Ipswich. Pours slightly hazy amber copper with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, malty, caramel, biscuit, orange marmalade, earthy notes. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Nice bittersweet finish. First Signature Brew beer I've enjoyed.

33cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark amber, with fine whitish foam, of unattractive. Aroma is delicate malt and caramel, but also herbaceous. Body is average, like carbonation. Taste is well-balanced between malty sweetness and old school bitterness. Final has some long-lasting bitterness.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft. Pours clear copper with a small, foamy off-white head. Light to medium sweet with toasted malts, mellow leafy hops, hints of caramel, ripened citrus. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, a bit of orange rind, more toasted bread, grains, English yeast, leaves. Solidly drinkable.
