Queenie is named after a Cornish apple variety this is a Weizenbock brewed with apples. Full bodied and dangerously drinkable!

75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, May 22. Brought by me.Hazed chestnut brown, with a cream topping. Bit of a strange one this, expected a strong weizen yeast profile but baked apple dominates, apple boiled sweets perhaps, with simmering amber malt. Good to try a final beer from these guys, but unfortunately seems a bit muddled and unintentional.

30th May 2022; Shrewsbury Beer Share Evening in Chez Sophie. Five guys enjoying themselves. Cheers Mat for the 750ml bottle of this. More like a Cider than a Weizenbock, aroma and taste was all about tart/sour apples and no yeasty/wheaty/banana/clove traces at all. It was OK, but was not what we expected.

Bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours lightly hazed chestnut brown, red tinge, short-lived thin white head. Aromas of toffee apples, light spice. Taste is more of the same. Interesting.

75cl bottle from the brewery online shop. Appearance - deep brown or chestnut. Lighter chinks. Off white fluffy head. Nose - distinct apple and accompanying malt bread and toffee. Taste - tangy apple and toffee. Bready again. Palate - medium bodied, tangy and slightly sweet at the same time. Overall - interesting beer.

500ml bottle at home. Pours unclear cola brown with a loose off white head. Aroma: dark malts, apples, wheat esters. Taste: light to moderate sweet & light bitter, boozy, fruity, stewed apples, banana, apple pie spices, earthy hops. Sweet-ish finish. Medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation. Another super interesting beer from WWA

Keg at Friends of Ham. Pours cola brown with a thin off white head. Aroma is Wheat, grain, a little apple. Taste is caramel and apple with the malt, banana, clove and grains coming through leaving a sweet dry finish. Not too bad at all.
