Gluggy off white head on hazy amber coloured body.
Orange, malt & paper aroma.
Medium bodied, very lightly carbonated with a sticky back.
Lime, biscuit, malt, pine & resinous tastes with a hopped finish.
Nicely balanced.

Interesting: single hop strata. New hop to me. Nice nose: very clear. Fruity, citrus, exotics, some berry. Full bodied and very well rounded: just the perfect amount of lingering bitterness, doesn't overstay it's welcome. More piney in taste than the nose would suggest, citrus, hints of strawberry in the aftertaste. Very enjoyable!

A very light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Slightly thin pale malts but, clean and delivering enough sweetness. Strata hops bring light pine, light but bright tropical fruits. A pleasing peachy mango, just a trace of passion fruit. Crisp piney finish. Juicy if thin tropical fruit linger. Nice job, impressed with the 2 O'Hara's I've quaffed recently, bright and clean. If they could just dial up the hop intensity without losing the brightness, well I just might need to move to Eire!

500ml bottle: BB 28th September 2022. Drank on my patio in the afternoon sun on 29th April 2022. This may well be my first encounter with the Strata Hop (Passion fruit meets Pot according to one description). Anyway it poured a bright golden amber with a decent and lasting white head. Fruity nose and taste, more Mango and Melon than Cannabis or Passion fruit for me. Liked it, late bitterness and a good malty base for the hops to play with. Not always a fan of Single Hop beers but the Strata seems to have managed to pull this one off.
