Bottle 33 cl. Pours a thick, almost syrupy, black with a small, creamy, light brown head. Sweet, chocolate syrup aroma, sweet roast. Fat, sweet, chocolate roastiness, some vanilla and dark, pruney, dried fruit. Warming alcohol finish. Very thick and syrupy, very delicious. 311025

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, almost no head. Ashy coffee aroma with licorice and calvados. Full bodied with restrained sweetness and well rounded mouthfeel. Licorice, tobacco, molasses and calvados. Peppery warming finish with medium bitterness. Intense, complex and powerful.

ABV: 11.0%. Dark black brown colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, dark fruit, ash, portwine, port - tawny, barrel, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, barrel, oak, dark malt, sweet malt, alcohol, ash, roasted. To me unbalanced >:0( Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming and light to moderate alcoholic. [20240106]

Bottle bought at Alko Oulu Keskusta in August 2023. Black with a creamy and thick tan head. Roasted malt, ash, chocolate, coffee and licorice. Full body and warming alcohol. A nice one. Hyvää itsenäisyyspäivää, Happy Independence Day Finland.

Shared 330ml bottle with minutemat on 18th October 2023. Cheers to beardedavenger for this delightful beer (BB 16th November 2024). This was our night cap after a very pleasant tasting of 20 beers in my bar. Full tanned head on a black body, viscus and smooth, oily feel to it. Lush maltiness in the taste, soft chocolate and roasted coffee beans blending together nicely. A great beer to end the session with.

330ml bottle, huge thanks to beardedavenger for procuring this for mine and blackhaddock's pleasure. Final beer of the evening and what a beer. Pours black, large tan head. Thick roasty nose, continuing to form a layered malty character, with comforting roast and additional nutty chocolate moments. Can really sink your teeth into this one.

Bottle bought at the Alko in the mahoosive Prisma, Oulu. Aroma is rich and boozy. Fruity. Dark and glossy. Creamy beige head. Rich - molasses and coffee. Dark chocolate. A dark fruit sweetness. Thick. Oily. Sticky. Flat carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Great stuff.

33cl bottle from Alko. Poured pitch black in color. Superb IS. Licorice, ash, hops, dryness and bitterness. Roasty, thick mouthfeel. Piney even.
