Monday 25th September 2023, Shrewsbury Gathering in Chez Sophie, 5 blokes and loads of beer. Cheers Mat for the clear 750ml bottle of this Cherry sour puss. Hazy dull orange body, wispy head. The bourbon influence struggles to find any traction against the cherries and their sourness, but they try.

75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Sep 23. Pours a dull hazed pinkish deep orange amber, thin head. Sour cherry nose. Crisp sweet tangy fleshy fruity cherry character with mild bourbon the shadows.. excellent.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Hazy orange. Funk, cherries, oak, some vanilla, sour, a bit vinous, lemony. Great.

So I’m not getting much vanilla. Lots of cherry though, intense blend of tart fresh cherries and some bourbon barrel oak.
