Can. Asda. 6%. Maybe they tweaked the recipe a fair bit here, because for me itโs way better than previous ratings suggest. Itโs like a decent easy drinking ipa with nice herbal floral notes. Not so much of the G&T thing going on but an easy 3.8 for me.

330ml can via Beer52: BB 17th February 2024. Drank at home on 18th June 2023, Fathers Day! Clean and clear light golden body, wispy white head after an initial full crown. Interesting concept using Gin Botanicals in a beer, not too sure it actually works though. It does have a G & T sort of taste but I am not keen on the dry finish or lemony/citrusy flavour.

Draught keg at the Head of Steam, Cardiff. Mid-gold pour and clear with a rocky white head, some lacing. Light citrus hop on the nose, with some juinper-esque notes and grainy character. Taste is a bit of a let-down as it transforms to your normal bittersweet pale ale with subtle ginny notes. Maybe a bit acrid in the finish. Carbonation definitely on the soft side. Decent enough but not all that easy to get overexcited about.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A pale straw coloured pour with a ring of white head and lively carbonation; weak botanical aroma; ; sharp botanical taste with some lime and aromatic herbs; then a dry finish.
