Can from Beer52. Pours a slightly cloudy gold with moderate sized white top, nice retention and lacing. Aroma has pleasant notes of blueberries, apricot and hay but a little subtle. Taste has some of that fruitiness coming through, nice malt base - almost pilsner like but with a hint of caramel. A touch of resin also leading to a moderate bitter bite. Medium bodied, smooth, soft carbonation. Not a particularly hoppy pale compared to most (even for Beer52) but there is a balance to this beer which I really like.

Can from Beer52. It pours lightly hazy pale orange with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, white bread orange marmalade sandwiches, peach, nectarine, apricot, dull toffee, sherbet and candy. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, some decent bitterness, apricot, peach, nectarine, marmalade, touch green, pine needles and bready malts with a dry finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Pretty chuggable. Decent gear.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A slightly hazy pale amber pour with a ring of white head; sweet tropical fruit aroma - tinned pineapple to the fore; crisp but sweet fruity taste with a biscuity malt base; but little in the way of a finish.

330ml can, via Beer52: BB 17th April 2024. Drank at home on 1st June 2023, in honour of a dear drinking friend Fred Waltman who sadly passed away yesterday. Mini-haze to the golden body, full on white head that fades too quickly. Fruity nose with a more pronounced malty feel to the flavour, mild peppery finish.
