Can from Beer52. A cloudy mahogany with large off white foam and good lacing. Aroma of brown bread, clove, light banana, pepper. Taste follows, malty with bread and caramel but with a slight berry tang and banana and spices. Semi-dry finish, light to medium bodied. Decent.

Can from Beer52. It pours hazy chestnut brown with a decent white head. The aroma is sweet bruised banana, banana split, toasty grain, nutty, woody and ryvita. The taste is dry, bitter snap, toasty grain, some warming spice, clove, bruised banana, banana bread, walnut, earthy, toothy, chewy and some burnt toast with a drying, toasty spice finish. Average body and fine, fluffy carbonation. Decent enough.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A slightly hazy golden amber coloured pour with a dense cream head; sweet bready aroma; immediately bitter in the mouth with some caramel and banana flavours and a bready body; smooth and very drinkable; leaving a clean finish with traces of herbs and spices. Very good.

330ml can via Beer52: BB 10th April 2024. Drank at home on 1st June 2023, poured into a 'Good People' Brewing Co sleeve glass just for kicks and giggles. Misty mahogany body, large creamy coloured head. This will be my 30th in the style, so no expert, but this is pretty good in my eyes (had 8 from the top 50 according to Ratebeer). Wheaty and caramelly, cloves more than bananas in the nose and taste. Got to score it highly.
