It could be said that we’ve been pretty taken by the latest hype hop to land in our cold store, Vista. Only released twelve months ago from the USDA Breeding Program, Vista has already won plaudits for its highly desirable aroma and flavour profiles of delicate orange, apricot and tangerine, with sub-layers of green tea and grassy herbal notes. Given the multi-layered nature of this incredible hop, we wanted to pair it with something a little more straight down the line with its flavour notes – step forward Talus. A descendent of Sabro, we absolutely love how the citrus rind, pink grapefruit and dried rose petal notes meld with the soft tropical flavours of everyone’s new favourite Stateside slammer.

440ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, April 23. Thanks Mike for our monthly Polly's quota. Hazed golden orange complexion with a good white head. Fairly sweet offering this time.. orange and mango notes.. smooth and pulpy. Nicely presented.

17th April 2023; Shrewsbury Beer Exchange in Chez Sophie, five guys drinking and chatting with plenty of snacks. Cheers Mike for the 440ml can of this: BB 8th May 2023. Misty pale yellow body, white head. Don't know much about Vista or Talus hops but they did give off a citrusy and tropical fruity aroma and taste.
