Handpull cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Light to mid-brown, translucent with a creamy off-white head. Caramel, polished wood and a touch of cola nut in the aroma. Spicy notes in the sweet taate, although it's neither particularly subtle nor balanced. A good dollop of bittering hop in the finish doesn't stop this beer from tasting too sweet and too artificial.

25/7/2018. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours clear bright amber brown with an average sized off-white to beige ear. Aroma of malt, toffee, chocolate, hops, dark fruits, light toasting and nut. Medium plus sweetness with medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, bit above average carbonation. Decent brew except for being a little too fizzy.
