Rich, boozy and warming, Garden Of Earthly Delights is a complex blended, barrel-aged barley wine displaying pronounced sherry-like characteristics, most notably dried fruit and molasses, with a chewy, malty backbone and soft bittersweet finish.

20th March 2023. Monthly Beer Share, Chez Sophie in Shrewsbury; five guys who love beer and talk bollox while drinking. Cheers Mark for the 375ml bottle of this: BB 31st March 2026. Beige head on an amber body, almost clear. Treacle malty sweet, earthy dry finish and interesting beer all round.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Dan. Pours mostly clear amber-gold with a creamy, off-white head. Medium sweet flavour, some apple, booze, toasted barrel, berries, faint caramel. Full bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, semi-dark malts, earth, aged berries. Not bad.
