Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Near black with small beige head. It's quite roasty with the dark chocolate and vanilla coming though mid way. There is a chalkiness to it. Moderately sweet. Decent.

Hand-pulled half-pint on 11th March 2023, Crown Inn, Oakengates. Almost black with a beige topping. Nice, easy going Porter with a mini-sweetness within the roasted malty nose and taste, chocolate and vanilla giving the sweetness!

Cask at The Oil Basin, Worcester, 16/02/23. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a beige cap that clears edgewards. Nose is cocoa powder, dark malts, hint of vanilla, toffee. Taste comprises chocolate, light vanilla, baking powder, mellow roast, brown sugar dusting. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close. Okay cask porter.

Handpull cask at the Ploughman, Werrington, Peterborough. Dark brown and quite translucent with a ring of khaki head. Chocolate and a little espresso on the aroma. Taste is sweet, and more I'm getting more liquorice than anything else. Loads of in fact... which is fine although different from the description. A touch of almost tannic bitterness on the finish. Soft carbonation. A decent beer.

Colne Beer Festival 2023. Near black with a no head, but might be a festival thing. A bit thin in texture but has quite a lot of chocolate evident in both aroma and taste.
