A single-hopped New England-style IPA brewed exclusively with new season Mosaic. Pouring with a bright orange glow and a heavy haze, this vibrant modern pale ale leads with an aroma of blueberries, floral notes and tropical fruits. The first sip is a splash of juicy stone fruits, with soft mango, ripe peach and sweet nectarine flavours coming through in waves. The addition of oats creates a soft and thick body, resulting in a beer that is full-bodied, delicious and balanced.

330ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of mango, passion fruit, pineapple, grapefruit - intense, but not condensed to sweaty resinous purulence. Taste is bitter hoppy, slightly diluted tropical fruity, dominating grapefruit, a mineral touch, biscuity malty basis; lasting bitter finish. An obligatory service for the Mosaic worshipper, an effective missionary hopefully generating multitudinous converts.

Bottle. Tall Boys Beer Market, Leeds. Hazy amber. Lots of lumps. Thin, messy, sticky, white head. Fusty, dank orange hop. Touch of pineapple. Sweet, toffee malt backbone. Taste is pithy bitter. Light dry. Palate is robust, with soft carbonation that emphasises the chewiness of the malt. Finishes light dry, and long, juicy bitter. Lovely.

Aftertaste: pretty bitter, grassy, herbal, German bitter hops, bit malty, some citrus. Nice stuff.

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Hazy orange gold colour with a lasting white head. Tropical fruit aroma. Smooth in the mouth. Decent hops. Some bitterness on the finish. Fine. Ok.
