Can: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with some sweet adjunct notes and floral coffee notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with some sweet adjunct notes and floral coffee with a sweet finish. Body is somewhat full with good carbonation with no discernible alcohol notes. Enjoyable pastry stout but maybe a tad too much adjunct.

16 oz. can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of intensely sweet sticky toffee, caramel, treacle, etc. Flavour is full of intense sticky toffee, huge caramel, treacle toffee, and brown sugar. Way too much sticky toffee and sugars, and lacking malt depth. It’s okay, but much too sweet and sticky.

Can pour at the April DCBeer monthly gathering. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a small tan head. Aroma was chocolate, and some brown sugar. Molasses, light cocoa. Roasted malts, cinnamon. Chocolate cake.

16oz can pours an opaque black, some brick red head faded quick. Nose has cocoa and brown sugar, some baking spice, molasses. Flavor is very cakey, cocoa and brown sugar, big cinnamon, big molasses. Full bodied and sweet but a nice treat.
