Black color with no head. Aroma and flavor is coffee, dried fruit, oak, honey, alcohol, roasted malt, cocoa. Nice beer.

Bottle, 375ml. An almost black one, oily, still and headless. Honey, roasted malts, coffee and some dark dried fruit in the aroma. Alcohol and booze. Cocoa and a touch of oak. It's full-bodied and sweet, warming and velvety, with quite a lot of honey flavor. Roasted malts, cocoa, dark chocolatet, alcohol, some coffee and dark dried fruit. Oak and some vanilla. Lasting finish with lots of malty sweetness. Nice indeed. 241224

En bedre inngang til førjulsgledene enn en hyggelig kveld på Salikatt Taproom kan man neppe få. Etter en parallellsmaking av Christmas on Fire 2024, Resin Rush og Solar Flare (alle fra fat) avslutter jeg med to eksklusive flaskeøl i 10 cl utskjenkinger, under mottoet hensikten med lastene er å holde dydene på et fornuftig nivå. Praktisk talt helt kullsort uten skum. Et forførende brygg preget av honning, bringeær/krisebær, mørke dessertchokolader, nybrent espresso og marsipan. Eminent balansert, saftig og viskøs. I det hele tatt en ypperlig farligwine.

Pours dark brown, scent is very funky. Honey. Taste os farily mild on the mead part, though it clearly delivers honey to the blend. BW heavy, funky honey on the back.
