0.33 l can from 'Craftbeershop.com', canned in October 2023. A little hazy, deep amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly malty, a bit floral aroma of caramel, nuts, wet leaves and traces of raisins. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, minimally floral and a little roasty taste of caramel, toasted nuts, wet leaves and a touch of burnt bread crust, followed by a short, quite bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant ale, fairly bitter, nicely malty.

Can. Clear copper featuring a proper white head. Aroma of malts, herbal hops, caramel and nuts. Taste follows aroma with just a tiny hint of vanilla. Moderate herbal bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. This didn’t blow me away and is of course no match for Düsseldorf’s heavyweights but it’s balanced and well done and today this is all I ask for.
