75cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden and clear with steady carbonation and an initial head that quickly disappears. Nose - wood and apples, apple skin. Taste - fresh and baked apple, some hay and wood lurking. Palate - medium bodied, tangy and bittersweet middle and finish. Overall - good gear!

28/12/2023. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear very pale gold with a few small bubbles. Aroma is woody, caramel, vanilla, tannic, funk, horse-blanket, touch of spice. Medium sweetness, light tartness. Medium body, smooth, soft carbonation. A little sugary to finish.

Panda thanks to Ed. A almost clear deep orange coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is semi sweet, semi crisp, candy apple, wood staves, pencil, honey note. Flavour is composed of crisp fizzy apple, woody tannin, bark, mild funk, fizzy apple, drying finsh. Palate is crisp, woody tannin, fizzy massaging carbonation. Nice!

750 from the Press online cider club. Rare Vos glass @home. Slight dribble of a bottle bomb. Frothy, fizzy, hazy, honey-lemon tea pour. Earthy, honey, mellow old sock funk, soggy-sweet maceration, oily floral, slightly stuffy. Taste is browned & sweet apples, sweet lemon, chewy skin, wax, grape tannins, sulfite-y, hard water, mucho yeast. Earthier than I expected. On the sweeter side of keeving. Chewy, moderately astringent, good carb, sticky bubbles. Good but not Tom Oliver good.

75cl bottle. Don't know if this is 2021. To be honest, I'm a bit annoyed by all these years on cider entries as they all tend to be the same year by year. Quite a lovely one this, cork shot out 🍾 No info at all on the label, decent woody barrel with gently caramelised apple fruit and comforting smooth tannic fuzz on the palate. Decent

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 23/11/23. Golden copper with an off white head that dissipates edgewards and retains well as it goes for a cider. Nose is ripe apples, hint of caramel, light wood, modest barnyard strokes, herb. Taste comprises apple pulp, light funk, vinous, light acidic tinge, hedgerow, farmyard, apple core, tannins. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, drying close. Solid well balanced cider ... Oliver's showing their class once again!

750ml wired cork bottle from Fine Cider Co. The cork self ejected with a gush on opening. Slightly hazed golden colour, foamy white head and aroma of juicy apple, fruity, burnt caramel note, funk. Taste is sweet, juicy, tangy, apple, fruity, orchardy, funky, leather, with some caramel and drying woody bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, soft foamy carbonation, dry mellow tannic finish. Very drinkable.
