This is a single variety cider made using Somerset Redstreak cider apples from Charnwood ciders own orchard. A classic bittersweet variety, this cider is initially fruity in the mouth, followed by a soft bitterness and is reminiscent of late summer hay meadows.

Bottle at home, from an online peddler whom I can't recall, 23/02/2025.
Almost clear golden orange topped with a white head that thins but retains as edge work.
Nose is crisp apple, light orchard wood, straw, faint smoke, apple skins.
Taste comprises tannins, apple skins, light funk, hedgerow, light acidic bimble.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close.
Decent flavoursome cider.

500ml bottle from Cat in the Glass. Golden colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of fruity apple. Taste is sweetish, apple, floral, fruity, woody, with some soft tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium mellow tannic finish. Quite drinkable.
