Cask handpull at The Craft Beer Co St Mary Axe. Clear russet brown colour lasting beige head. Served a little warm flatish condition. Some brown malt light American hops dusty dry finish. Ok. Drank it quickly which is normally a good sign. .

(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 23 April 2017) Dark amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with toast, caramel and orange peel. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of orange peel, caramel, crisp-bread, some rye, hints of liquorice and a balanced citric/spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made brown ale with an American touch. Nice one.

Cask @ Knott Bar, Manchester. Dark amber-brown with a thin head. There’s a heavy rawness about this ale’s taste. There’s lots of grain and bread flavours and there’s a much darker taste to that of the ordinary malty bitter you find in many places.

Cask at Euston Tap, London. An amber/brown coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Fruity, caramel aroma. Tastes of caramel, hint of citrus fruit. Quite pleasant.

On cask at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Rich brown body, thick lasting white head. Toffee and caramel in the nose, with an underlying citric crispness, and a vague spiciness there too. Smooth mouthfeel, not as sweet as I’d expected, but refreshing nonetheless. A short bitter finish, not bad and will go down a treat when they master this one.
