Tap at Flor do Lupulo. Admittedly I dont know much about ciders, so here goes: it’s got a pleasant, gentle acidity throughout, clean apples with a mild sweetness to them. There’s a prominent funky touch both in aroma and taste wich is a very nice twist. Fun all around.

Bottle pour, taster. @Feira Sidra A Estrada. 01/06/2024 [#7.487 Global - #300 Portugal - #1 Nua Roots (My Portuguese cidery / brewery #82)] Pours pinky with a small head. Aroma: very fruity with red apples and berry. Taste: light funk, berry and red apple. Moderate tannins. Dry finish. Refreshing Next one, please!

Panda thanks to Ed. A mostly clear orse petrol coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is nice floral notes, peach, nectarine, mellow funk, delicate funk, white wine notes. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, light tangy, pineapple, schloer, rose petal, light funk, tart funk, rose wine, prickly funk. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, prickly, fine carbonation. Light spice in the finish.

30/10/2023. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours almost clear pale golden with a few bubbles. Aroma is very fruity, apple, light funk, slight woody and petroleum notes. Moderate sweetness and medium tangy tartness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Drying light tannic finish. Liked this.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 17/09/23. Faint pink, Rose-esque, coloured pour with little in the way of a head. Nose is apple core, tannins, light sugars, berry pips, straw. Taste comprises apple skins, vinous, balanced acidic strains, hedgerow, orchard wood, touch of red berry fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent.

750ml bottle from Cork & Cask. Orangey-pink golden colour, thin white foam head and aroma of apple, stone fruit, tea, fruity, funk. Taste is sweetish, apple, fleshy, peach, fruity, with some funk and tart acidity. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, light carbonation, drying fruity funky acidic finish. Nicely drinkable.
