Batch 259. Slightly reddish brown black, creamy brown head. Smell is sweet, earthy beetroot, and plenty of roast. Nice thickness, slightly sharp, creamy. Taste is interesting; pretty roasty base stout but with an earthy sweetness from the beetroot. Fun!

Fles gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een pikzwart bier met een volle bruinige schuimkraag. Het aroma van gebrande mout en koffie. De smaak is vol, gebrand, koffie en drop met een lekker dik mondgevoel.

33cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours black with brown foam, fine. Aroma is super nice of coffee, chocolate, hazelnuts, and some vanilla. Body is smooth, fairly dense, with nice tickling carbonation and partially oily. Taste is pretty sweet and roasty. Final is long, chocolatey and roasty.

On tap. Pours black with short tan head. Aromas of licorice, chocolate slick roasted malts and yep beets. Flavors follow same.

Bière bue au bal. Bière riche, intense, épaisse, très parfumée, porte bien son nom. Bonne mais peut être vite écoeurante.

Bottled 330ml. from Ambasada Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate, wood and whiff of beetroot in the nose. Sweet roasted malt, light chocolate, dried fruits, some vanilla and noticable beetroot with dry earthy touch in the finish. Alcohol hidden.

Bottled 330ml (Piwne Mosty)
Opaque colour, small beige head. Roasted, alcoholic, black berryish, cocoa aroma. Full-bodied. Flavour is also very roasted and alcoholic, berryish - black currant flavour, some cocoa. Robust but probably beetroot doesn't improve the flavour.

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

Bottle. Black color with purpleish head. Aroma is beetroot indeed, chocolate, mild roast. Taste is chocolate, beetroot, balanced but I am just not a fan of beetroot. Velvety mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Well-made, but since I am not a fan of beetroot, it's not the perfect beer for me.
