Bottle. Almost clear pale golden body under a small off-white head. Complex aroma of apple, mild wood and hint of Bourbon. Taste is acidic apple, wood, slightly funky and hint of wood and Bourbon. Fine balanced body and smooth, pleasant aftertaste. Nice cider with a mild touch of Bourbon.

Pours clear pale yellow with a short lasting white head. Aroma has notes of red apples, wood and hint of vanilla. Taste is light to medium sweet with a long red apple, vanilla and wood finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is fizzy

375 ml corked & caged green bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7%. I've had many oaked ciders, and quite a few bourbon barrel aged beers, but this is probably my first bourbon barrel aged cider. Clear and very pale yellow colour, pours sparkling with a shortlived white head. Aroma of apples, oak and bourbon (but not as much bourbon as expected), there are also some strong, strange and unpleasant notes of weedkiller. Very dry and tart flavour (but better than the aroma), some apples, grassy and oaky notes, only a hint of bourbon. This stuff was quite expensive, won't buy again. Forget the bourbon idea for ciders, Lindheim.

GYG 070919. Golden-yellow color with a white head. Aroma is apple, bourbon. Flavor is dry, apple, wood, grass, hint of sourness, hint of bourbon, funk. Nice cider.

Bottle, 375ml corked. A more or less clear one, pale yellow in color with a small white head. The aroma has lots of nice apples, a touch of apple cores, some cellar and wood, and a light funky touch. Vague hints of bourbon, tending towards armagnac. It's dry and medium bodied, nicely carbonated, with flavors of apples, grass and orchard, apple cores and some nice boozy notes. Lasting finish. A very refreshing and tasteful one. Nice. 190907
