Canned 4/15/26, drunk 6/24/26. Compliments of tfontana. Thanks, Tom!
Pretty straightforward/prototypical NEIPA here. Sometimes you don't need an insane story behind the hops/malt. It's ok to just be like, it's a Citra El Dorado NEIPA. Enjoy. At over two months old, unsurprising that there's no big pine or acidity from the El Dorado, if there ever was any to begin with. Good grain and honey from the malt, with typical Citra notes lingering (peach, orange, mango).
Juicy and flavorful, clean and well-presented. Pretty high attenuation here, giving the perception of a lower body, but I wouldn't call the texture thin (though it's pushing it for this abv). Ends a bit abruptly, is my biggest qualm, but that could just be the age and relative lack of oomph from the malt. Still a perfectly well-made, clean, well-presented beer.

Can from the brewery. Opaque, bright yellow (pineapple juice), tons of sparkle, thin head with poor retention, trace lacing. Aroma is strong lemony citrus and grapefruit, light herb and pineapple. Taste mirror aroma. Smooth, silky, albeit thin, texture, soft carbonation and crisp, yeasty finish as taste. Drinks lighter than the ABV like a refreshing tropical drink. Very nice.

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Thank you Tom! Aroma is grapefruit, orange, and mild herbs. Flavor shows a good amount of citrus with maybe hints of mango. Under the fruit is a very soft pine or herb undertone. Juicy texture with a soft pine finish. Prototypical for the style.

2/II/23 - 1Pt. can from a trade, shared @ home, BB: n/a, canned: X/12/22 (2023-101) Thanks to Ryan C. for the trade!

Cloudy beige beer, small creamy white head, little stable, a bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice, lots of tropical fruits, citrus notes, some mango, a hint of ripe banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit sweet, sugary even, tropical fruits, lactose maybe? A bit fruity, pretty bitter, dry, a bit wry. Aftertaste: hoppy, bit of an alcohol burn, a bit spicy, sweet as well, some grapefruit peel, zesty, grassy finish, some hop burn, nice one!

Real soft mouthfeel. Almost pillow like. Juicy, piney. More top drawer material from Fidens. Wouldn’t mind sipping on this under a palm tree 🏝.
