Pours black, small white head. Scent is full, bit soy, roasty, dark and pure chocolate. some coffee-like aspects. Vanilla and maple are rather mild. A decent amount of Barrel shining trough, but not doing overkill. Taste is full, rather bitter, oily, mildly age factor, bit plastic-y. very mild on vanilla, hidden on the maple. Decent amount of bourbon, but not the best profile I've had it. Perhaps a bit too aged at this point ?

9/XII/23 - 1Pt. 6Fl. Oz. bottle @ BBGG winter 23-24, BB: n/a, 2014 version (2023-1139) Thanks to Benzai for sharing the bottle!
Clear dark purple brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, a bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: a bit oxidized, soy sauce, caramel, vanilla, cardboard, caramel, sugary impression. Mouth feeling: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, malty, grain, good roast, vanilla notes, some milk chocolate, gentle acidity. Aftertaste: bitter, a bit spicy, dry, oxidized, some cardboard, lots of dark chocolate, soft bitterness, a hint of coffee, pleasant, caramel, vanilla notes, nice!
