Super hazy golden and light copper coloured body with a nice two centimetre tall off-white head that's slightly soapy, sitting above the 90 per cent opaque glowing yellow tinted body. Aroma of oranges, grass, mangoes, flowers, soft wheat, some relatively assertive medicinal scents with a lot of bitterness seemingly here, but also some alcohol, too. Medium-bodied; Crisp, slightly biscuity and grainy malt notes start at first with a lighter wheat and slightly oaty note right behind, but a tad of a dry stone fruit, apricoty type flavour along with a tropically mango-like feel and taste, all before the orange, grapefruit and alpha acid hop bitterness takes over. Aftertaste is rich, fairly dry and showing some herbal and grassy qualities, while the oranges, grapefruit and mangoes come out at the end and leave a touch of sweetness here. Overall, a decent enough, pretty well-rounded and balanced IPA that shows as a New England, but has actual bitterness of an old school IPA and enough dryness to almost be a Brut. Good to try, fairly fresh, and perhaps worthy of trying to find this one! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from The Perfect Pour in Elk Ridge, Maryland on 07-March-2023 for US$4,69, canned on 03-October-2022 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 12-May-2023.
