Appearance is oily jet black, with a brown foamy head. Aroma is vanilla, dark chocolate, coffee, roast malt, boozy dark fruit hints, caramel, espresso. Taste is chocolate, coffee, dark roast malt, caramel, fudgy dark malt, chocolate cake, brownie, cocoa powder. Chocolatey and slightly bitter finish. Good stuff.

Can. Black color with beige head. Aroma is marshmallows, vanilla, chocolate. Taste is the same. Thick oily mouthfeel with low carbonation.

Pours black with a slim fast disappearing head, the aroma is toasted marshmallow but there is bitter cocoa. Thickness in the mouth, nice bitter chocolate, but smooth and rich, roasty in the background, super nice.

Can. Darkest brown, somemurkiness, low head. Sweet dark cocoa, cofee, licorice with marshmellow. Sweet licorice root, cocoa, light raw notes, coffee and cocoa retronasal. Medium full chewy body, flavored sweetened aftertaste, guf!

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2021. A black beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of sweet dark malt, chocolate, caramel, vanilla. Taste of sweet chocolate malt, caramel, vanilla, coconut. Nice.

Draught @ Protokoll, Berlin. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aromanof marshmallow, lactose and malt, with estery hints. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of coffee and sweet touches of lactose, caramel and malt. Roasty aftertaste with notes of marshmallow and alcohol bitterness. Decent, although rather crude.

330ml can. Pours jet black with a large head. Aroma is sweet roast with marshmallow and vanilla. Taste has marshmallow throughout with a cakey vanilla finish

Thick and sweet, lots of vanilla, some barrel in the aftertaste. Creamy, masks the alcohol really well. Nice.
