I kveldssolveggen på Lillehøgda. Amber. Litt uklar. Lavt tett skum som daler sakte. Baconaroma. Smaken røkt svinekam. Tørr, svakt bitter avslutning.

Superficial festival rating at Brew Festival, Oslo 2022. Friday session. Unclear dark golden body under a small, lacing tan head. Distinct campfire in aroma, malt, caramel, smoked ham and hint of dry fruit. Taste is soft malt, smoke, bread, smoked meat, some generic fruitiness and low bitterness. Balanced body and same aftertaste. Surprisingly smooth and easy drinkable considering the relatively bold aroma. Very food friendly. A solid true smoked bock but also a fine introduction to the style for those who might be sceptic to the style.

On tap at Brew Festival. It's an unclear dark amber colored beer with a finger-thick offwhite head. Nice curtains. Smoke, ham and notes of bread in the else quite fruity aroma. Some dark dried fruit blends in after a while. It's full-bodied and nicely carbonated with a light bitterness. Smoked flavor on a fruity backdrop. Ham, bonfire, oak, generic fruityness, piney hints and some prune and dried date. Lasting finish. Sure a well brewed and tasteful smoked bock, looking forward to having it again. 220429
