12 oz. can from The Bat Cave. Pours an opaque dark orange-bronze color with a small khaki head and poor retention. Very few spots of lacing. Toffee and hops aroma. Initially sweet caramel and toffee flavors, but the finish has a strange fruity metallic note. Medium-light body with a thin mouthfeel. Very low bitterness. Lightly crisp. Not bad, but I was expecting better.

Fruity for the style, hitting the usual notes of toasted bread and caramel, but having a berry streak underneath, with a subtle sweet vein mixing with a lingering yeasty tartness on the finish. Almost comes across as a craft Irish red lager. Not great.
