330ml slim can sold to me by djoeye. Bubbly, fawn-coloured head resting over a near-black body. Roasted earthy malts on the nose, mid-sweet, quite promising. Pretty decent mixed taste of nuts, mid-sweet doughy malts, and rips fruits. Prolonged ending with ripe citrus fruits and mid--sweet, slightly roasted dark malt. Medium bodied. Fine follower to my Yuletide lunch. (Tromsø, 26.12.2023).

Dark blackish brown with lots of head, which lasts reasonably well, but not really long. The packaging sort of promises a bit more than the beer delivered wrt taste. Aroma is slightly grassy and vaguely stout-ish in the start, with vanilla coming forth with increasing temperature. The vanilla has an artificial, short impression, and is unable to dominate the aroma. Light drying mouthfeel, witch ends in a burning sensation far out in the aftertaste. The impression is fairly dry for a stout, although it does have some body. Low on hops, both bitter and aroma, though the grassiness might come from hops. Balance is destroyed with the burning sensation that takes over the halfway out in the aftertaste. Nor does it make use the full potential of a spieced Christmas Stout as a style.
