Keg at the Earl of Essex - London. Pours perfectly clear, rich gold with a fine, white cream cap. Aroma carries some lightly toasted, pale and bready malts, touches of toffee. Light sweet flavor with mellow butterscotch, faint toasty bread, mild cereal. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly sweet to finish with mild toasty grass, dry brown bread, hints of toffee and caramel. Quite nice overall.

@Aldgate on tap. I think this is the only rating for the beer on tap and I would say it must hold up much better on tap than in a bottle. Dark amber color. Very malty. Smells like fresh cereal. Body is smooth with cereal everywhere. Hops are very low. Refreshing. Long cereal finish. Great stuff.

Bottled(330ml). -Nice cooper coloured, small to medium off-white head, dry honeyish nose with touch of spices. Quite interesting taste; much closer to brewpub beer than industrial macros. Slight sweet malty, yeasty and bready with notes of honey. Interesting and good beer.

07/04 0.5 l bottle as Schremser Naturbier, courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured a amber to copper body with small amber head. Weak honey and bread malty aroma, some grains as well. Typical Marzen flavor, some honey and eggy malts, a bit bready with almost no hops. They show in the finish though. It seems quite natural and well made for what it is, but I don’t like Marzens anyway...

Bottle shared with heavy and ogivlado, courtesy of the latter (thanks!). Lovely darker amber body with a thick slightly off white head. Light malty nose, honeyish, a bit fruity, with some very light dust.. Distinctly bready taste sometimes making way for the notes of honey. A bit acidic. Light hoppy bitterness. Not too shabby but not too good either.
