Bottled. Black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is big time whisky and bourbon along with some liquorice, alcohol and mild chocolaty and nutty notes. Flavour also has the Whisky on top, but also some chocolaty, liquorice and mild alcohol tones with a wee bit of ashes.

Bottle. Black body under a lacing, dense beige head. Aroma has dark malt, hint of smoke, peat and Bourbon. Taste is medium sweet, dark, smooth roasted malt, chocolate, peat, smoke and boozy Bourbon. Full bodied and long lasting aftertaste. Fine for a few sips, but fin it too boozy after a while.

Batch 760. Pours black with a reddish hue, very fluffy creamy foam. Smells peaty, caramelly, bit of toasty malts. Taste is definitely peat, but relatively mild. Also honey for sure, silty aftertaste. Bourbon is there very lightly. Bit rough in a good way.

KØLF 150520. Dark Brown color with a tan head. Aroma is pine, roasted malt, coffee. Flavor is pine, bread, herbs, alcohol, coffee, honey, bourbon, peat, dried fruits, vanilla. Complex beer.

Bottle shared with my girlfriend for my birthday, also concurrent with my brother over a video chat. Pours a very dark clear brown with a little bit of fine head. Aroma is malty and spicy, lots of whisky (bourbon and single malt), sea salt, vanilla chocolate, salted caramel. Peat. Big body, thinnish but smooth mouthfeel. Flavour is malty and sweet with a very spicy, herbal baseline. Buckwheat is very noticeable, even if I don't taste it as a specific flavour. Medium bitterness. Some light cocoa, coffee, and licorice. Finishes bittersweet. Lovely porter!

Bottle thanks to santa doug pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is smoke meat peat malts some brown sugar and a bourbon barrel note. Taste is more of the nice sweet brown sugar malts a touch of chocolate plenty peat smoke notes and a nice barrel touch.
