Note un peu sauce soja - effervescence faiblarde, pomme verte, acétyle?

On tap @ ChiareScure Festival, Milano 2018.

330 ml bottle. Pours black with short dan head. Aromas of bourbon, oak, raisins, and dry roasted malts. Flavors of bitter green oak, boozy bourbon, and roasted malts. To long in the barrel I think, and oak and booze overpower what should be lots of malts and sweetness.

Draught@Uba ja Humal, Tallinn. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is fruity, floral, mild roast, some raisins and mild spiciness. Flavour is liquorice, alcohol, some spices, mild floral notes. Sticky sweet, but still rather tasty.

Bottiglia: As black as expected, small foamy traces on the surface, moderate to solid sweet aroma of vanilla and wood, toasted malt, cacao, dried fruits and presumably traces of coconuts; quite robust sweet and also mildly bitter flavour, full bodied, oily MF; lingering and drier chocolatey, toasty and fruity finish with a hoppy(!) aftertaste. Pretty good, well drinkable night-cap...

Cap is hard to open. Smell- medium strong, coffee, alcohol, malt, roast. Foam- medium thick to thick, roast, alcohol, dark chocolate, coffee Head do not exist, there is bit of dark brown clouding and bubbles but they cant be called foam.. Appearance - brewer bottle cap, simple bottle but not plain, it has all the writing and images poking out a bit, well at lest most of it, I like that. Very dark brown red, almost fully back, one of blackest ones I have seen to be honest. some small amount of carbonation at the bottom of glass. From - stout glass Taste - sweetness, malt, roast coffee. Then some bitterness and more roast with alcohol when swallowing. Bit of caramel, fruits notes somewhere, dark chocolate and espresso. Does feel strong and thick, some decent sweetness. Quite good, but nothing over the top.

Tap @ Uba ja Humal Taproom. Pours dark brown, almost black. Some limited brown bubbles on the top. Vinous and somewhat boozy nose, some nailpolish character. Tastes slick and boozy, dry and not too sweet - some deeper blackberry jam character coming out later. Booze bitterness lingering in the finish. Bit harsh perhaps, boozy barrel.
