Amber to orange with a frothy white head that lingers. Big whiskey aroma at the outset. A bit of garden earth. Subsides though with time in the glass and both pear and herbal notes become noticeable. Taste has a mild tartness up front. Finishes much the same. Warming and dry but limited depth. Medium bodied with moderate to prickly carbonation. Not bad but nothing exceptional.

Hazed deep golden pour with an off white head. Decent lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. A bit strange mix between sweetness and sourness. Malty, oak, some peat, fruity and yeast. Not really my cup of beer. [Bottle in the late hour at Haand Festival -19] Brewery #2048

Süß-säuerlicher, ziemlich torfiger Beginn. Hohe Süffigkeit, vollmundig, minimal bitter. Würziger, rauchig bitterer Abgang, wenig süß. 10/9/10/10//10

Bottle at koht. Pours golden-amber. Aroma and flavor are whiskey, sweetness, malt, sugar, apples. Overall: good.

Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of smokey peat, oh yeah. Also bandaid, orange, subtle yeast ester and malt. Taste has smoke, iodine, peat, malt, orange, yeast ester, malt and oak. This is really whisky forward. Tastes like a laphroaig with tripel, very nice.

Peat, leather, turf, empty alcohol

Bottle at Van Moll. Lightly hazy orange golden color, decent sized white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly smoke and a hint of oaky-wood tart. Hard to describe odd flavor. Mwah, not bad but not really my thing.
