25/6/2022. Bottle from Beerdome online store shared at the Gorzow GP beer share. Pours clear dark amber copper with a small short lasting frothy off-white head. Aroma is biscuity, boozy, oats, fruit, biscoff, toffee and marzipan. Quite sweet, light to moderate bitterness. Medium to full body, creamy, soft carbonation. Increased bitterness to finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle from Beers@Moviefun, Bruges. Hazy dark amber-brown, small, frothy, tan head. Aroma of gingerbread, speculoos, clove, biscuit, candied plum, red apple, ripe pear, liqueur, mocha. Taste has sweet pear, red apple & plum in a biscuity, milk-chocolatey malt profile, some caramel & roasted nuts; slight powdery coffee but lots of spices in the middle. Earthy hoppy finish with coffee nibs, tonka, clove & biscuit, gently warming liqueur alcohol. Medium to full body, oily texture, average carbonation. Lots of flavours going on here, perhaps a bit too chaotic yet tasty.

Hazy brown with no head. Aroma of coconut, cocoa, coffee notes, caramel and toffee. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. It doesn’t look like much but tastes pretty good.

Pühaste nous offre ici un OBNI (Objet Brassicole Non Identifié) assez remarquable. Répertoriée American Strong Ale par Ratebeer, White Imperial Stout par le brasseur, on aurait pu tout autant la référencée en Spiced. Mais au final cette bière ne ressemble à aucune autre, mais dans les essais de White Imperial Stout, celui de BBP est tout de même plus aboutie. Ici, Pühaste a ajouté fèves de tonka, cacao, vanille et café kenyan à une base maltée douce ayant une dominante caramel. L'alliance, très portée sur le caramel est très étrange. Pas réellement bonne, pas réellement mauvaise cependant. L'ensemble est par contre lourd en bouche avec un alcool à 10,5% ayant des difficultés à porter la structure et une amertume à 50 IBU n'arrivant pas à donner une fraîcheur qui aurait été opportune. Corpulence et longueur sont néanmoins bonnes. Je n'en reprendrai pas pour ma part. Certains pourront même parler de mascarade, je parlerai d'un essai pas forcément heureux mais créatif dont nous sommes les cobayes.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, reddish, brown colour with small, frothy, fading, beige head. Sweet-ish, spicy and fruity aroma, notes of cinnamon, tonka beans, cocoa, vanilla, sweet cherry. Taste is sweet, fruity and spicy, notes of cherry, cinnamon, tonka beans, some cocoa and vanilla, some alcohol; warming alcoholic finish. Oily, sirupy texture, smooth and soft palate, soft to flat carbonation. Surprisingly fruity, quite unusual composition - not bad.
