Cask at the NWAF, 2012. Amber pour with a white head. Very light fruit nose. Toffee, malts and light fruit flavour. Doesn’t pack much of a punch.

15th July 2010. Chelmsford Beer Festival. Clear amber beer. No head, no carbonation. Very light smoky malt offset by some mild orangey hop. Finishes dry. Okay.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol. Fairly standard copper appearance with a slight head. Some floral hops on the nose followed by flavours of biscuity malt and a bitter finish. Good.

Cask at the Fox and Hounds, Warminster, 07-04-07. Poured amber in colour with a goodly head on it. This was a really jolly decent bitter, lovely soft fruitiness, nice biscuityness and balanced by a wonderful sweetnes that ensured that this one trickled down a treat. Lovely beer.

Cask. Golden, still beer with some off-white bubbles on the top. Weak, balanced aroma, maybe a bit on the hoppy side. Quite hoppy flavor at the beginning, but the malt comes through quite strongly after a little while. Medium body and a long bitter finish, with pine-cone notes. (060711)

Cask @St. Urho’s Pub
Copper brown, cloudy off-white head. Lemony woody hoppy nose. Quite mild, more malty than hoppy ale. A bit woody and roasted flavor. More or less tasteless, but those light flavors are ok, so this could work as thrist-quencher.
