Bottle picked up from Beer Revolution, Hay on Wye, Powys, consumed at home Sunday 6th August 2017 cooking Chicken Dhansak, Chicken Jalfrezi, Spaghetti Bolagnese and burgers. Hazy dark gold light amber with a white head. This is more than a touch stodgy and more traditional than I was expecting, caramel, malt and chewy are my overriding thoughts. This lacks hops, lacks a crispness, aroma is rather muted, it lacks a clearly defined flavour, itโ€™s a new craft beer for the old man generation, may appeal to the CAMRA old guard. Very hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and has reasonable carbonation. Light and smooth malts, mild to medium sweet. Floral tangerine and orange with a nice background touch of candy fruits. A trace of Pac Jade dark berries. Mild hop spice. Smooth finish. Very nice, could be crisper.

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Hazy cloudy dirty dirty brown gold lasting white head. Itโ€™s a decent pale ale, very drinkable, subtle hops and caramel. Some lime. Some bitterness. Pink grapefruit. Just very well balanced and super drinkable. Disappeared in minutes.
