Scotch bonnet, habanero og tørkede chiliflak har fått kose seg sammen med kakaonibs og blitt skikkelig nam.

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 10%. Black colour, moderate tan head. Moderate aroma of roast malts and chili. The flavour has a moderate chocolate sweetness, but not too much. A distinct and warming chili burn throughout. Nice beer.

33cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark purple/brown, almost black, with very limited brown foam. Aroma is a combination of sweetness like molasses and caramel, coffee, and chilli. Body is fairly dense, with limited carbonation. Taste is fairly sweet at first, not really roasty, and then intensely chilli. Final, with the latter dimension, is very long.

Can @ Håndverkeren. Dark brown body under a fast-fading beige head. Aroma has roasted dark malt, dark chocolate, chili and hint of vegetables. Taste is medium sweet, dark, moderate roasted malt, some dark chocolate, plenty of chili burn, hint of vegetables, moderate bitterness and alcohol. Medium body and same aftertaste. Dark chocolate and chili are good, but this was not that god. By my experiences some of these pastry stouts seems to lose some of their flavors after a little while, but I don’t know about this. I find it way out of balance, too much chili burns and alcohol compared to the rest of the beer. In short term, I found the chili but miss the imperial stout.

Black with a brown head - Dark malt and chocolate aroma - Dark malt body with some chocolate flavours and chilli heat - The dark malt goes into the finish with a long lasting chilli heat - This was good , but a little bit to hot on the chilli
