Bottle. Piana spora, klasyka czeskiej Bohemy. Piana spora i stoi trwale niczym grzebien koguta. Zlociste, naturalnie nagazowane, tresciwe umiarkowanie, ale chmielnosc wyraznie zaznaczona. Przyzwoite

Bottled. Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is corn, sweet malts, some herbs and mild dusty tones. Flavour is herbal, grainy, some herbal tones with mild earthy notes. Kind of bulky feel to it. As it warms up it gets more metallic.

It would call this a Bohemian pilsner, it does have the saaz hop character. Nice saaz aroma, and a good looking, gold colored beer. Undercarbonated, maybe an old bottle. Some hop flavor. Recognizable as a Czech pilsner, but it would be better fresh.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Light malt aroma. Malt flavor with light grass and spice. Medium body. Lingering malt, grass, spice, light caramel. Not bad, but nothing special.

12 oz bottle from Trader Joes; Nose of light caramel malts, clear copper with a small beige head; flavor has some light caramel and a miniscule amount of hop bitterness. Not much of a Pils!

Pour is a copper with a large whtie head. Aroma is some stale malts and a bit of metal. Flavor is some biscuit malts and not much else. Kind of bland and not much different than the lager. $1 a TJ’s.

Brown bottle from Trader Joe’s. Aroma of pale malt and noble hop, but more pleasing than that of many beers. Amber tinged gold color with a respectable white head. About medium body with fizzy carbonation. The flavor is a bit caramel, but the noble hop is right on. The finish is fairly dry, and the hop persists nicely.
