Sample (thanks fonefan!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grass, herbs and mild grainy tones. Flavour is herbal, grassy, some bready and mild earthy tones with a wee bit spiciness in the finish.

14/11/2022. Can bought at Casino supermarche, Geant Sainte Marie, Noumea. Pours clear dark golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma of sweet malt, metal, stewed fruits, cardboard, boozy notes. Medium plus sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Certainly gives extra booziness to the standard Number One but don’t think it improved it much.

330ml bottle into shaker. Courtesy of bitterlady. Probably should just be called ’Number One Extra’ on Ratebeer but I digress. Green bottle and I’m greeted by rubber tyre and sewer notes, calms down in the glass to just tin and a hint of vegetables. Golden beer with thin white head. Light fine carbonation. Full bodied, light fruit taste. Bit of zing. Finish has moments of malt and decaying fruit. Quite odd but drinkable.
