Canned 8/21. Red, no head. 3- Sharp aroma with plump berries, wood. Softer texture than suggested by the aroma and a little residual sweetness too, so that the acidic notes of the aroma aren't harsh. Nice berries. Long sour finish drifts slowly towards wood and stems. Good.

Draught at Publick House, 3/23/15, Trillium 2nd Anniversary Night
Sparse beige head tops a mildly hazy burgundy body with brighter raspberry tints on the edges.
Tart in the nose, but well-balanced with plenty of malic and citric acid from the boysenberries mixing with light, leathery woodiness and honeyed malts which are transformed in to jammy, almost caramel-laden notes. No alcohol or flaws. Low on the barrel tannins.
Clear, clean, bright fruit acids are gracefully entwined with lightly sweet malt sugars and balanced acetic and oak notes. Carbonation is a bit low/loose, which is actually my biggest complaint, as tightening that up would really bolster the drinkability and overall brightness of the beer. Otherwise, it’s a relatively straightforward, but very well-done rendition of the barreled and fruited sour. I actually like that there’s a little more sweetness here than normal. The body never seems too big because of it, but it keeps any tannic or aggressive acetic notes from disrupting things.

On tap at Cascade, pours an opaque burgundy with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a mix of berries, especially blueberries, grapes, and oak. Flavour is on the acidic side, with grapes and blueberries upfront, followed by a woody acidic and red wine finish. Complex, vinous and woody, with a dry mouthfeel. Very good stuff.
