Everyone loves a fat baby! Whether you like ours or not is up to you, but it would be rude not to pretend its cute at the very least. Fat Baby is a Continuously Hopped IPA, meaning it was fed generous hop additions at every possible moment during the course of the brew. Hops were added at 13 different points: mash, 1st runnings, 90 min, 75 min, 60 min, 45 min, 30 min, 15 min, min, whirlpool, and 3 separate dry hops. Apollo, Simcoe, and Zythos hops take centre stage, creating a piney, resinous, citrus-heavy bitter beast that will have you crying for more.

Hazy dull amber sort of colour, medium head. Fairly bitter, fruity, orangey. Not bad hop for not being fresh. A bit yeasty, a bit past its prime.

Part of their 10th Edition IPA Fun Box, pouring a fairly clean amber colour with a few golden highlights, a warm-white creamyish cap, good stay and small spots-streaks of lace left. Some grassy-piney hops in the nose, not too crazy, with a caramel-cereal malt base. The pine is a little more present in the taste, cutting trough the maltiness. Some good slow-building dryness do come out of this. A few berry notes as well blending well with the rest. Quite an easy West Coast which is middle of the road.

473 ml can. Pours a copper color with light head. Aromas of dank weedy hops and doughy malts. Flavors of pine, acidic citrus and bready malts. Sharp bitter finish.

Copper pour, medium white head. Soft malty aroma, light, fruity Hops, but this is incredibly subdued and boring. Mouth feel, and carb are good with a solid medium bitterness. Finish is soft pine resins, light fruit. This is incredibly bland.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy amber copper with a medium, fluffy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of bready caramel malt, tangerine, pine and weedy hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy caramel malt, orange peel, pineapple, peach and pine resin in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Flavourful, but was expecting more.

Can from the LCBO. Very lightly hazed medium copper with a large cream coloured head that fades slowly and leaves stringy lace. Nose is bread, resin, citrus peel, grass and a bit of funk, though all a bit more subdued than continuous hopping would make you expect. Flavour follows with a light bread and melon sweetness and a medium pine and citrus bitterness. Mouth is medium slick with average carbonation. 7-/3+/7+/3+/14
