Bottle, kindly provided by the brewery. It pours a crystal clear pale golden to straw colored body and a quite rapidly collapsing, else good looking white head. The aroma is quite fresh, with citrusy, floral hops and a rather crisp maltyness. Some grass and pine cones and a touch of white bread crumb. It's quite dry on the palate, not too heavily carbonated, but rather thin bodied. There's some sweetness too, coming stronger in the finish, where it has that almost sweet corn like touch, borderlining cardboardy oxidation. The flavor is quite similar to the aroma, but there's more focus on the maltyness, pale malts and bread, but still a decent fruityness. There's also that lemon/lime-ish sourness/acidity that is typically found in industial pale lager/pilsner, but in this beer it feels more appropriated and well integrated in the flavor profile. Overall, sure a decent pale lager, much more complex than usual for the style, and flawless. Don't think I'll see the need to get some more bottles, but it could work well on a hot summer day, especially after some time in the sun working in the garden or after a bike ride. 240303

Small sample from 330 ml clear bottle, at Vectura-messe. ABV is 4.7%. Pale golden colour. Fairly fresh aroma and flavour, "clean" and slightly citric without any unpleasant off-flavours. Not a super-interesting beer, of course, but should be decent enough to drink on a warm summer's day. Better than Corona and Sol, and that is obviously the intention behind this beer. I might even buy a bottle to re-rate, if it turns up in a grocery store in my neck of the woods.
