Flasche 0,33l: Schwarz, deutliche Trübung, mäßig stabiler mittelporiger beiger Schaum; kräftig würzige Nase, dunkle würzige Süße, Kräftige Kokosnoten, nussig, dunkle Schokolade, kräftige Röstaromen, kräftig Malz, dunkles Karamell, Vanille; würziger + leicht fruchtiger Körper, kräftige dunkle Süße, Kokosnuss, dunkle Schokolade, Röstmalz, dunkles Karamell, cremig, moderate Kohlensäure, kräftige Röstaromen, etwas Kaffee, Vanille; malzig-würziger Nachgang

Brown with a thin, frothy head of modest duration. Interesting and pleasant aroma promises pineapple, papaya and caramel. With the first sip woodsmoke comes into the mix. Taste is mildly sweet with a low-level, burnt bitterness at the back. Medium-bodied, mildly watery texture, not chewy enough for my liking. Pleasant and creative brew, but doesn’t meet the sum of its parts.

Aus der Flasche im 2024-05 getrunken. Diese Interpretation des Senatsbock lebt von seinen Kokosraspeln. Die restlichen Aromen die es mal frisch nach dem Brauen hatte, sind nun sehr verwoben und nur ein schönes malziges Schokoladen/- Kokosaroma ist hier deutlich. Fruchtaromen, die es wohl mal hatte, sind nun gar nicht wahrnehmbar. Trotzedem ein tolles Bier!

Bottle drunk watching Foundation S2. Darkest brown, almost no head, thin one with huge bubbles. Nose is sweet coffee and cacao-laced caramel. Flavor incorporates coconut, rummy vanilla apparitions, pretty interesting combination. Very smooth with a nice roasted-bitterness aftertaste balanced with caramel. Big flavor for 7%!

On tap. Deep Black color and a tan head. Yeah,funky. Tropical fruits, coconut, a little Pina Colada feeling . Weard, but nice interpretation of a bock

A very dark brown beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of roasted dark malt, coffee, hints of coconut. Taste of coffee, caramel, chocolate, dark malt, some coconut.

0,33 l bottle. BB 26.07.2025. More black than dark brown in the glass, small beige head. Malty, fruity and some barrelwood on the nose. Taste sztrats malty, some dark fruity elements, definitive vanilla, low boozy, little bit pepper sharpness. Barrelwood. Fortunately not as much cocos as expected. Low to no carbonation. Pleasant stuff.

Milder Kokos-Malzbeginn. Geringe Herbe, überaus wenig Vanille, was so nebenbei läuft. Süffig, allerdings weniger spannend und kantig als die Version von Kehrwieder. 9/8/9/8/10/8
