440ml can. Jet black colour with average, creamy, slowly diminishing, minimally lacing, dark brown head. BA supported, caramel malty and roasty dark malty aroma, notes of dark caramel, leather, some peat, some chocolate. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty and roasty, chocolately, dark malty, BA support with notes of peat, leather, sweet caramel malty basis, hints of Bourbon and vanilla.
Creamy to viscous texture, smooth and soft, silky, slightly cloying palate, fine, soft carbonation.
Relatively huge BA impact, apart from that rather simple and monotonous, but harmonious and quite intense overall - decent.

Alkoholischer Whiskeygeruch. Langer Nachgeschmack. 10/13/13/14/10/14

Can. Darkest soy sauce color, sunset on the edge. Salt, smokeded, berry nose, great whiskey barrel nose. Full bodied, sticky sweet licorice mouthfeel. Rich fruity/berry base, dark chocolate, balsamic, lightly burnt, roast and chocolate nibs, port. Very nice balanced, but also very intense.

Bottom waxed can, many thanks Gregor! Black color with small beige head and beautiful cathedral lacing. Aroma is beautiful Laphroaig peat smoke, backed by a solid malt backbone, really one of the better Islay BA flavours I've smelled. Despite the 30 months Laphroaig BA, this is well-balanced and interesting. Taste is big chocolate, caramel and vanilla, mild raisins, smoke is well-integrated. Thick oily mouthfeel, peaty aftertaste. Well-made, I was sceptical, but I am convinced.
