A Premium Extra Pale Lager. Using a time-honored recipe with only the finest malted barley and blend of hops, Rolling Rock is a classic American lager that is as well-known for its distinctive, full-bodied taste as it is for its craftsmanship, heritage and green bottle. Full-flavored, with a subtle bite. Light-to-medium body and color. Brewed with only the choicest ingredients; a perfect blend of pale barley malt, rice and corn.

Can. Drank cold, thereβs nothing really wrong with this beer. Pours a clear, light yellow. Grain, corn, malt aroma. Flavor is lightly sweet with faint bread. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Finishes crisp.

12 oz bottle. Corn-filled aroma. Pale, not "extra pale" like the label says; no different than any other pale lager. Good lacing for this style. Flavor is sweet, surprisingly. High carbonation. Above average pale lager--definitely the best of this style Iβve ranked so far.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours pale yellow with a huge and chalk white head. Cornish aroma. Flavour is cornish and sweet syrupy. Cornish and bitter flavoured finish. Simple and boring.

Overall Impression: This beer always makes me think of college keg parties because of the one liquor store that sold kegs of this as its cheapest beer. For some reason it was even cheaper then Natty/Beast/Bud Light/Miller Lite, etc. I'm not sure why that was, but needless to say we purchased it a lot. Why am I telling you all this? Because I don't have a lot to say about the beer itself, its a boring pale lager...

Mmm... pale lager from a green bottle. Excellent. 12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Charlottesville. Date 09122... I think. Pours a crystal clear pale yellow color with a large head. Decent head retention and fair lacing. Aroma is grain and grass. Taste is grain and sweet corn notes. Thin bodied. Not too bad, actually, and no skunk detectable anywhere.

Bottle, bar, Kalamazoo. Watery drink with skunky malts, some corn. Otherwise quite drinkable.

Of all of the light beers in America this is my favorite. It’s refreshing and has a nice twang of bitterness that others lack. It’s still no monster of a beer but I won’t hate on it.

This beer really isnβt that exciting but my favorite "mass consumption" beer, thus giving it a special place in my heart.
