Karanska 9 is a light, bottom fermented beer made by the classic recipe. We brewed it with our trusted ingredients and methods. We used only Czech hops (Saaz and Sládek), combined pilsner and munchen malt and mash process. That all makes Karanska 9 a balanced, tasty and distinctive beer. It has mild zest, light yellow colour and balanced bitterness. A lower wort level gives it light body and makes it very easy to drink. It’s alcohol content is 3,9%.

0,5 l can. Pours almost clear deep yellow with medium rocky white head. Aroma of pilsner malt, hay, a bit of lemon zest, slightly grassy. Taste is very light sweet and light bitter. Body is thin, carbonation average. Finish is medium long, more pronounced mellow bitterness. Thin body as expected, but I've had other beers with higher ABV that were way more watery.

Can, five months before bbd. Pours clear pale yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is pilsner malts with bread crust, hay and honey, as well as zesty, herbal hops with floral notes and grassy minerals. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is pilsner malts with freshly baked light bread, hay and honey, as well as floral hops with gentle herbal notes and grassy minerals. Mild herbal notes lingering seemingly forever. Remarkably balanced, refreshing and moreish. World class lager!

50cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours pale gold, partially transparent, with fine white foam. Aroma is grainy, bready. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is moderately sweet. Final is average.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear pale golden, small head. Generous aroma of hay, bitter orange and tea. Mid dry with light body and clean, crisp mouthfeel. Crisp bread, hay ans seville orange. Long biter finish.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Dorata, limpida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso malto, note erbacee, leggero diacetile. In bocca ha un attacco appena abboccato, con chiusura amara media, secca, esile di corpo, carbonata il giusto. Ok.

Thanks fonefan! Yellowish golden colour, small white foamy head. Aroma si grainy, grassy and mild floral tones to it. Flavour is grainy, grassy, herbal and earthy elements. Nicely dry palate in the aftertaste.
