Hops: Saaz, Sladek.
Karanska 9 is a light, bottom fermented beer made by the classic recipe. We brewed it with our trusted ingredients and methods. We used only Czech hops (Saaz and Sládek), combined pilsner and munchen malt and mash process. That all makes Karanska 9 a balanced, tasty and distinctive beer. It has mild zest, light yellow colour and balanced bitterness. A lower wort level gives it light body and makes it very easy to drink. It’s alcohol content is 3,9%.

Can. Cloudy golden orange. DMS, mushy peas. Sparkly sweet, soup. Need more words.

Can, many thanks Marko! Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma reminds of DMS, peas and cabbage, cereals, earthy hops. Taste is the same, solid cereals. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Alright, but the veggie part is a disappointment.

Can. Cloudy yellow, white lace. A hint DMS, mellow medium body, straw malt, light grassy, herbal, fresh. Pleasant enough session despite the light flaw.

Tap at the brewpub. Pale dull, slightly hazy golden body, off-white head. Herbal and vaguely grainy herbal, lightly buttery aroma. Herbal, lovely herbal, lightly flowery hoppiness on the expected dry malty body, bready notes. Ends herbal, hoppy, bitter. A very, very good traditional Czech 9° lager!
