Bottle. Belge Comptoir. Beautiful looking bev. Hazed glowing orange with a super sturdy bright white foam. Nose has like a rye or spelt type grain thing. Bit of pineapple and sweet citrus. Taste is light sweet with moderate pithy bitterness. Lots of body but stays easy drinking. Rolling foamy carbonation. Dries out toward the finish.

25cl draft at Brasserie de la Senne in Brussels, Belgium. The pour is a hazed golden yellow with a one inch white head that falls slow with great retention and lace. The aroma is a sweet honey malt, floral and a bit of faint herbal. The taste is a nice blend of honey malt, floral hop and the de la Senne character yeast. The palate is medium to light bodied with soft carbonation and the clean yeast, mineral, herbal finish. Super clean and balanced.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orange golden colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Slightly biscuity, pale malty and citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of mandarine, orange. Taste is mildly bitter, citrusy fruity hoppy and sweet-ish, slightly biscuity, pale malty, notes of mandarine, orange, some lemon, some zesty bitterness, a touch of orange peel. Minimally creamy, watery, texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium, foamy, somehow mouthfilling, almost bite-able, mildly prickly carbonation. Harmonious and balanced, light with elegant simplicity - good.

Bottle at the brewery, Brussels, Friday 29th April 2022. Pours a lovely orange colour, hazy orange color with a large foamy white head. Floral and spicy notes, soft moutheel, pleasant bitterness, in fact the sweetness and bitterness are well balanced, a little soft ripe sweet orange. This is a very nice beer.

Bottle. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is flowery, esters, pretty classic Belgian flavours, in a nice balance. Taste is the same, nicely bitter in the back. Oily mouthfeel with soft carbonation.
