Panda, courtesy of SHIG, pours with a deep dark colored body with deep infrared hues and supporting a thin dark tan head of foam. The modest aroma offers up chocolate, dark roasted malts, chocolate brownie and a faint sense of the peppermint that I would have missed if I didn't know it was there. The taste delivers smooth moderately sweet chocolate flowing into nice nutty oily like coffee. To midway the chocolate goodness doesn't give ground to the dark roasted malts, coffee and the thin layer of peppermint that lingers mildly well into the after taste. This is restrained boldness showing really no sense of the massive abv to the point of being dangerously drinkable. Well done. I really dig this.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 14/03/24. Black with a dark tan head that stays for the show. Nose is chocolate melt, light spice, coffee, maple edge, sweet malts, mellow roast, just a hint of peppermint .. a good sign! Taste comprises coffee, chocolate, you get that stated whipped cream edge akin to an Irish coffee, light spice, mellow roast, modest mint once again. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spike of alcohol. Solid decadent pays-tree ... sweet edged but well balanced overall.

16 oz. can. Aroma mild coffee, soft peppermint and chocolate. The peppermint is soft with the coffee and bitterness from coffee helps for balance. A touch of booze and warming after the sip. Body is thick with a smooth texture. This is a beast Damn!
