We use UK grown organic Hemp flour to give this beer an earthy nuttiness.
A malty, toasted and nutty mild.

"Hemps nutty-flavoured seeds make a great ingredient. With hemp being a cousin of the hop, I had a hunch it would make a brilliant beer!" (Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall).

We're proud to collaborate with Hugh and the River Cottage team and use our organic beer to inspire change!

Can from RHS Wisley shop. Aroma is nutty with a some coffee. Sour berry edge. Muddy pondwater brown. Fluffy bubbly foamy white head is large and lively. Decent lacing. Tangy sour berries to the fore. And they really do dominate the flavour. Vague underlying nutty hints and sweetness. The sweetness is slightly more evident in the very finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice... unclear on what the hemp is contributing but doesn't diminish my score.

Can shared in London - cheers to Daniel. Pours clear honey-gold with a foamy, pure white head. Light sweet flavour, some husky grain, straw, grass, lemon peel. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Bitter finish, dry, grassy, more straw, biscuits. Alright.

6th Floor bottleshare with the usual suspects. Thanks to Dan the man for the can. Almost clear gold beer, small off white head. Light smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Thin malts, quite sweet, some cereal. Bright sweet fruits. Little pine. Light semi dry finish. Odd but okay.
